"Triste Inventario" by Dharío Primero
For the music video of Dominican legend Dharío Primero, my role as Lead Animator was to translate the artist's melancholic legacy into a visual journey that felt warm and respectful.
Rather than character-heavy acting, this project relied on atmospheric motion. I focused heavily on the compositing stage to create a "breathing" environment.
By layering texture, light leaks, and subtle particle effects, I ensured the motion graphics supported the ballad's slow tempo without becoming static. The result was a seamless visual experience where the animation served as an extension of the music's nostalgia.
Status Note: Due to ongoing copyright and estate proceedings following the artist's passing, the full animated film is currently unavailable for public streaming.
