Animations for Veritasium

Physics simulations, math visualization, and explainer graphics for one of the world's largest science channels.

I've been working with Derek Muller and the Veritasium team since 2019.

My job is to take complex mathematical proofs, physics equations, and abstract scientific theories and convert them into an intuitive visual language.

This role requires a strict adherence to accuracy. I don't "fake" the physics; I often simulate them. Using expression-heavy workflows in After Effects and procedural generation in Cavalry, I build rigs where the animation is driven by the actual math being discussed.

My goal is to share knowledge, I want to provide the viewer with a mental model they can manipulate, rather than just a pretty picture to look at.
